Royal Blue Tigers vs BTOE

I've been thinking about getting tigers for my tank, as they fit the parameters. I like the deep blue colors of the BTOE and Royal Blues. Buts whats the difference between the two? And do you think I can get a hold of some for less than $20 a piece? >.>

It's gonna depend on the grade. Personally I would just go with a high grade OEBT like speedie offers. They are blue enough to not justify spending the extra $$ on royals.

OEBT do not breed true so if they start breeding you with get mix grade shrimps from blond - royal blue

Royals are a definite blue whereas BTOE are black from a distance and blue if you're pressing your face against the tank. Royals cost more than BTOE. I would go with BTOE and let them spit out royals so you'd have both in the long run. $20 each is the normal price and it doesn't dip much lower than that that I know of.
