Price per livestock isnt the only thing to consider in this hobby. IMHO overall health and best of breed are actually more important. At some point one may come to value of finite tank space and appreciate having the opportunity to select a few quality specimens for breeding versus getting mixed batches by letting others choose.

Perspective is often more useful in valuation than merely looking at the dollar figure when shopping for livestock. Pacific has been fairly consistent in importing exotic breeds internationally. This all comes at a cost which is offloaded in retail. If you arent pleased with their prices, then look elsewhere. No one's forcing anyone to spend money there LOL.
