Question about Assassin Snails

I added 5 assassin snails to my tank today. They are about the size of a dime or smaller. The nuisance snails in my tank are also the size of a dime or smaller. Will the assassins go after them?

After an hour in the tank, I can only see one assassin snail. It appeared to be attacking a nuisance snail. My tank is heavily planted.

My two are relentless. The Death Tank is strewn with empty shells.

They are about the size of a nickel plus a dime each.

Thank you. I think I saw two of the assassin snails attacking other snails. One of them has been holding his position for the last few hours. I hope he is just resting. The other snail I saw attacked a nuisance snails then has moved a few inches.

Keep in mind that assassin snails are typically most active at night.

It's incredibly rare for me to see the one in my shrimp tank during the day, but anytime I check the tank after lights out, it's up near the rim stalking snails in the floating plants.

For the first 3 days they just, um, " embraced. I think they joined the Mile High Club while en route...

After they eat a big snail they will lay low a while and digest, maybe a day or more. once they settle in they might eat one a day or less. They don't kill for sport and can only so much.

Thanks for all the responses. I'll have to look at the tank after lights-out one day. Right now I can only see one assassin, it is on the glass just below the water line.
