Hydra and Safeguard; How the heck to calculate with these new pellet packages?

Sooo, Yeah, Hydra in my shrimp tank, killing my dudes. So I was like, Oh heeellll naw, and got some safeguard.

I was doing the math in my head for how much I was going to use, when I realized .. This stuff is now in pellets inside a packet..? The heck?

I recently moved out to the west coast, and apparently, according to my boyfriend, it's been these little sprinkle-able pellet things for as long as he can remember, rather then the bars you can cut up that I remember on the east coast.

Which kind of throws off my calculations for doseing..

Any one able to help me out here?

Worst comes to worst, I'll just count up every single pellet, since it's 1gram per packet, and then divide it from there.

I tried googling this, but apparently there is nothing out there about these ..pellet packages of safeguard and dosing them for a fenben treatment against hydra.

I've only seen it in pellets. The standard dosing is 0.1grams per 10gal.

Yeah, I just can't weigh it, I don't have a scale sensitive enough. I'm used to the whole cutting a bar into 10 equal parts to get my 0.1grams, haha.

Was hoping someone might have a pellet count or something , lol.

Maybe I should start counting pellets and do it the hard way. .. I wonder if they're uniform pellets.

Cocaine style method. Put the safeguard on a dark surface and roughly divide the pile into 2. If you have a 1 gram package, you now have 2 0.5 gram piles. Repeat dividing those piles etc, until you get to the desired amount.
