Just a heads up for those looking for pygmy cories locally...

Franks Aquarium has them for $20/10.

Aquastar has a few but they are in a tiny little bowl and are dark blue. WOW those bettas are gorgeous! Love the sleepy flare betta, the little pattern on the fins is very nice.

aquastar had a white giant several weeks back but was already sold before i had arrived.

When i inquired, he took the bowl away. hmph!

Check out the petshop on Jamaica Ave. The old man usually imports longed-finned giant bettas. He said he's own a few that have gotten to 3-4 inches.

Thanks dan. He certainly has quality stock. I find the uv lighting above the bettas to be distracting as the owner obviously is trying to make them stand out. While they do make the lighter colors glow, it actually works against the darker bettas making them less attractive. If anyone is looking for exotic bettas, this definitely is the place for it and also the best prices in the area.

So where are the comic con photos?

^^this one is hilarious! It's for a comic and if you stand in the cell for about 29 min you get free stuff! There were identical boy twins that i missed who took off their shirts and got money thrown at them...
