hey i am from dover pa close to york i bought several things from msjinkzd great women to deal. I have 40 gal planted tank 5 gallon red cherry shrimp/planted tank started with 6 now have 50+ getting ready to craigslist some or give them away will let you all know first, 10 gallon saltwater. I have a 55 gallon tank soon ready to start planted tank also bought a brand new 29 gallon biocube for 67$ at petsmart, oh yeah brand new no problems at all. Can we say STOLE what. Also some local fish stores in red lion there is a place called "Pets and You" not too many plants but get some rear fish in now and then also off of queens street by the 2$ thearter right beside gaint store there is a smaller pet store great guy very nice to talk to also they get plants in there bought and traded stuff with them.

Hey I was in your neck of the wood this past weekend. No good LFS out there. Rachel is probably the best source for hobbyists. Not sure if Dale and Bev is back up running yet but they do have some neat stuff. I'll be heading out there again in a few weeks.

So ive shut down my tanks upstairs...process took a whole 2 weeks with me working full time and what not...an hour here and there...moving everything down. At first the girlfriend sparked this inspiration because i told myself i was gona stick too 2 40 breeders and be done with it. But she decided to buy me 2 tanks for my birthday...and in return...yea...

Went to home depot spent 60 bucks on a metal stand. Its not the best, but it holds. Very flimsy. Amazingly it fits a 40 breeder perfectly. If done correctly this stand can probably hold x4 40 gallon breeders.

Light: 72" aquatic life fixture
Co2: pressurized with a 3 way splitter
Gravel: Diamond Blasting Sand Black (why would anyone ever buy anything else?)
Filters: fluval 404's
Ferts: Dry method + iron

Anyway ill spare the details...picture says it all.



Plants took a major hit from neglect so this is whats left after shutting down the tank upstairs.


3 Self cloning Crays, had 5 2 kicked the bucket


Bill's Styro's emersed...they're starting to flower. Did a trim today, waiting to have enough to be brave enough to submerse them. HC is growing like weed tho.




Diamond blasting sand...has different browns in the gravel so its not completely black...was a pain to clean but the fluval surface skimmer did the trick.

now that, my friend, is looking good. sorry i missed the post of your set up. looks awesome man. those shelves scare the heck out of me though. i would have welded some 90* angle iron onto those legs by now, mostly out of sheer terror of what "could" happen...LOL but i am a nervous nellie when it comes to that. i over engineer everything....LOL

haha unforunately im cheap as it gets. the stand is wobbly but as long as no one pushes it im good to go. i dont know how to weld and nor do i have any friends with that skill. would be a nice skill tho . It works, would i ever try to do it with a 75 gallon? na...its not the best stand on the market, but it works. fits a 40 breeder perfectly tho i have to say
