Anyways heart, come to the aq!
I would love to. I've only been there by train, so the only thing I have to know about is the parking over there. Is there a time limit and do you have to remain at the aquarium if I parked over there? Oh btw, you know if the auction is held in the aquarium or no? That would totally ruin the day if the car got towed. =x

I think they'll survive. CPOs arent exactly persistent hunters. they sort of talk a good talk for like a second and then forget what they were doing and go about their business. I can pack a portion for you if interested. need to know by thursday.

From what I remember there is no limit. (Not unless they change it long ago. Was there with my friend few years ago) There are parking around the area too.

Thanks Sunny-Y

So $13 from 3pm-10pm or 7 hours isnt too bad. comes out to $1.80 an hour. Way better than $.25 for 10 minutes at the meter :P

here's the linky for the Brooklyn Aquarium rates.

If you are going to the Auction you don't pay for parking. It is not in the Aquarium proper, you drive in and go to the right down a little hill and to your left. There is a white trailer and that's where the meetings are. However if you are going to the Aquarium in the afternoon I'm sure they charge you for that, and it's straight up to the left. You might be able to find street parking on the outside at that time. The block in front and further up along the outside of the boardwalk, across from the park is usually pretty good. I have found parking there many times. They won't let you in to the auction before 7:30pm.

The auction probably won't end till midnight or later. Some of them
have gone on till 1am, good deals the later you stay.

If you do park in the main lot during the day to see the aquarium, just move your car over so you won't have to walk back out to the other lot, don't know if they close that one after a certain time.
