They are the little fleas of aquaria and a treat for my bettas.
Home is my Shrimp tank with Ramshorns, pond snails, PFR, PRL,& Red Rilis.

They actually feed on whatever the snails dont deal with. From my experience they are too fast for most fish except the real hunters like SAE or if the random cory stumbles on a pair coppulating. Otherwise, they dont bother anyone nor the plants in the tank. This tank actually has some good mojo because my mosses oddly grow the fastest in this tank. If you want some, lmk. i have about 30 in a container ready to go.

RE: scuds, not likely to survive living with kribs. the kribs will decimate the colony before they even settle into the tank. ill try to catch him thursday.

yep. its like $10 a year for a basic membership. i went bronze for the larger inbox. my first ROAK clobbered my inbox so it became a practical upgrade.. if you click on the supporter link under my name, you'll see the details. There are perks, of which i use very little of but it helps keep the site going i suppose.

I think scuds are fine to keep but i dont like how they are copulating 24x7. even when i catch them, they cant take a break from it. again, dunno if its the mojo in the tank or just the scud nature... im looking forward to the aquarium on friday. havent been there in ages.

Awww..thats a bummer. I dont think i can raise any invertebrates in a tank full of predators. Maybe CPOs.

Aquarium? Whats the plan? Count me in if the aquarium is on the to go list.
