Need help identifying a plant please

Hi, I'm new to having live plants in my tank. Just finished cycling a 7 gallon.
Still waiting for my Diatoms and algae to go away.

So far this site has been a great reference for me.

Anyway, I bought a Java Fern and Anubias but the third one, I cannot find a description for. The guy at the store recommended it, but I want to make sure it is something that will grow in my tank.

Could someone tell me what kind of plant this is?

If you bought it at Petco, it should be water primrose - Ludwigia

I agree with this one more than anything. The leaf shape and type is totally wrong for a ludwigia sp.

+1 to Hygrophila corymbosa. They sell it in those plant tubes with water gel in the bottom.

Mine doesn't look as green as the ones I found online...lol.

I think it might be emersed vs submerged growth. My leaves grew in green.

That thing loves Potassium!! If you don't feed it the leaves will fall out or get holy.
