Though there are multiple this i would do quite differently, this is an awesome tank.

If it were mine, I'd start by changing the substrate and adding lots of different plants, both terrestrial and aquatic. Don't get me wrong though, this is a great start!

right on man.......my tanks make great science teaching tools. each one has provided a different unit for my bio classes!

james and discus man: tanks a bunch. I worked really hard on the scape but the last few pics show the loss of plants......jsut havent gotten around to fixin it up. The plans are in the mix for a rebuild on this baby. I'll keep yall posted

Very cool - I'd be interested to hear how you did that sometime if you feel like sending a lengthy PM my way. I incorperate a little, but not a lot. Unfortunately in bio I don't have a lot of curriculum freedom. With my aquatic class now, that is a whole different story.
