Low Tech Dirted 26g bowfront "Cave into Darkness" *Updated 3/6 Pg 4*
Hey guys. This is my first planted tank, and first tank in general, so I'm excited because of how much this tank has evolved and how much improvement I can still make. It still needs a few more plants, but overall I think it looks pretty good finally after dirting it a couple months ago.

And thanks again for all the compliments on my tank guys. I thought a planted tank would be a ton of work and really hard. But this tank has been awesome with very low maintenance. And once I got the fluval filter going the tank has looked incredibly clear. I'm also getting hygro tiger pretty soon so I can fill in the tank a little bit more. I do wish that I would of used black diamond instead of the cheap black gravel where it appears the black is fading away

Looks great and it should fill in beautifully. Very natural. Bravo.

as a number of folks have already posted that is a really nice looking setup!
Smaller (imo) is much harder to pull off than large tanks. Is the wood arch the real deal or manufactured? If that's real it's an epic scaping piece and a great find.

It is real malaysion driftwood! It is weird too because I got the peice before I knew anything about aquascaping or planted tanks. It is probably too big for my tank, but if i put it all the way to the back right of the tank it looks pretty good.

Just some pictures of the wood and the tank at different angles. These were also taken a few days ago.

Crazy growth and a couple more plants. Looks like a jungle but I like it like that. Needs a trim pretty soon though
