Thanks so much for showing up, guys! I cannot stress enough the value or importance of local clubs. I am not sure if you saw, but in teh back of the room was a table FULL of fliers for upcoming events in your area. This is really the way to network, meet other hobbyists, and get great deals. As you saw, auctions are DEFINITELY a buyer's market! I would strongly encourage you guys to join the club, i think it is probably $20 a year, and well worth every penny

Albert it was so nice meeting you and the rest of the crew! I actually had a really nice time. Albert what did you buy at that auction? Don't tell me you sat there and didn't spend a dime! They had such great fish and plants.

And thanks to Sonicpath for fixing Rachel's computor and making it go fast!

And everyone the big BAS auction is next Friday 10-12-12, it's free entry, cake and coffee,soda and tons of fish and plants. Let me know if anyone's going I'd love to see you guys again.

The auction for the waterlettuce didnt go too well. Nobody wanted a giant aquatic salad... even when it was offered for free.

I can, it just takes LOTS of planning- my daughters are 8 and 9 and very busy wiht athletics (competitive gymnast and equestrian). My husband works 72 hours a week, and baby sitters are hard to find, at least ones that are willing to run kids all over the place and spend the night

I CAN make things, just have to book WAY in advance. It is always a perk if my husband or kids can come with me and we can do something fun while out visiting a club

sorry, missed this post. Definitely. i just noticed that somehow some seedshrimp got into my 1.5 gallon bowl... hmm will have to see how that goes since they were meant to going someplace entirely different ha!

i've split up some of the seedshrimpa and scuds between a jar and the shrimp tank XD the seed shrimp is really loving monster fish's marimo
