ph is 3 drops
ammonia is 8 each, shake nitrite is.......5? or 10? says on the bottle, shake nitrate is 10 for number one, shake num 2 for 30 sec hard, 10 drops, then shake the tube for 1 minute. this is off the top of my head. |

Even though I got there late, it was nice seeing you guys again (whoever was still left). Also it was pretty fun watching people bid on anubias and random assorted fish. I was so tempted to get the water lettuce but I had no place to put it.
Anyways, time to get ready for the next meet!

Also I'm not gonna eat the water lettuce! Leave that to the guy Albert gave his floaters to.

She showed an awesome assortments of irresistable nanofish... mostly under 1in...
and those pygmy cories were sooooooo cute!!! The auction for the waterlettuce didnt go too well. Nobody wanted a giant aquatic salad... even when it was offered for free. Albert won a large bag of super healthy javaferns for $5 :O Heartnet got a bag of ten or so catfish for $10 XD including a HUGE emerald cory cat and an upside down catfish.... Ptr needs to add his kribs to the next auction :O 4 kribs were sold for $7... he would make quite a bit |

Very cool. I'd love a giant water lettuce. Alas.
Those bags of mixed cories were interesting! |

Rachel pretty much talked about the stuff that she keeps, and why she chooses to keep them, broken down by the specific regions that they hail from. She finished up by giving a check list of some of the more common mistakes to avoid, such as over feeding shrimp. One thing of importance that I couldn't have agreed more with that she touched on was the importance of temperature. Especially in relation to shrimp. She also mentioned that in her experience that assassin snails will take on any other snail they can even if they have to gang up on it, nano fish are even smaller than most people think, which they are, and that CPO's for the most part are shrimp safe. |
