I panicked when I saw the first one and scooped it into a container.


But I feel it has a better chance in the tank, so back it went. Meanwhile, I found others and counted at least 4.




Now I have to find somewhere to put my betta, lol. So happy!

Fish did all the work Of fish, the tank houses 2 otos (that I can't catch to transfer to my oto tank), a male betta and 4 CPDs (2males, 2fems). I'm pretty sure they're not oto babies, lol. I've been feeding the CPDs blackworms and they've been very frisky lately, the fry also have the same swimming pattern, so I assumed. BUT if they somehow came in on the plants people have been donating (for the classroom tank), then I have no idea what kind of fish they'd be.

That Deep Blue 3 gallon is a very pretty betta tank. Jus' sayin'.

Awesome ! I haven't raised CPD's (and would love to, as they are stunning fishes) - but I've found that the real challenge is not so much getting fry, than growing them big and healthy.
