May be too late to chime in, but I'm near Auburn and just starting up first planted tank. Would love to have others from home to compare notes with!

I do have a pond outside (preformed 90g) has 1 goldfish with batch of frogs just hatched in their. Also, I have lotus flower, and some new plants picked up (dont know exact name)
I would love to get to know local people since there is not many around me. Would love to buy some things and gain some knowledge. Look forward to hearing back from everyone.
Welcome to TPT! I currently have a 10G that I am trying to get going again, but would like to upgrade to a bigger aquarium eventually. However, like you I have a lack of space and so I can't go no bigger than a 25G (only slightly bigger than a 20H).

Cool. Depending on what kind of plants you want, you could always take a few of my trimmings from my 30 gallon. I'm getting ready to move my tank and everything back down to auburn on Saturday so i'll be in town if you ever want to meet up.

Thanks for the offer. I thought I was going to be able to get two 2.5 and a 5.5 for cheap, but they were sold. I wanna stay small(and cheap so I can justify it to the wife). I may contact you when I find some more tanks.
