This is probably evident if your corporation owns and runs a large number of websites, but we, the populace, will be kept happier if somebody is around to explain what's going on.

In any case, good luck, and I hope we will all benefit from the change in ownership and management.

I have no complaints so far, Adam, but I must admit I, too, am a little worried about what's going to happen to the forum and would like to know more about your plans for us.

This forum is great 4 years ago I knew nothing long story short. My girl friend brought home a tank, I hated it.

She put water fish and gravel in it(it had hob and heat too. She filled it up the same day and added about 30 random fish to a 55g

Next day, fish were all dead.

I started reading, I typically spend 1-2 hours a day on this forum.

I now keep 6 planted tanks

With various species of rare fish and shrimp.

I have my Lfs begging me to work for them.

This site has done the one thing no teacher has ever been able to do.

You have given me the will and motivation to learn.

THE BEST WEBSITE EVER!!!!!!

Thanks again for all the kind words everyone! The forum has grown exponentially larger and more active than I ever could have imagined. I still remember the first few registered members on the forum and how excited I was to get more than 5 new posts in a day. Now we easily get over 1500 posts most days and there are so many new people registering each day its impossible to get to know them all personally.

New here, but thanks for the site Kyle. I'm assuming this is the same Kyle from CP? Hope CP isn't going the same route, although an announcement to sell to nepa or WPI would generate some very entertaining reading.

Dont know ya', but this forum is absolutely awesome. You guys helped me when i got my first "real" (AKA Planted :P) tank at the age of 16 or 17- an awesome 75G Which i soon fell in love with, since it was so much more entertaining to watch than my previous tank which was a 29g. I Now have that 75G, two recently aquired 20L's soon to be shrimp tanks, and a 10G QT Tank, all in my room .
I Must admit my dad hates you (Even though he doesnt know it). He's been bugging me about the increase in the electricity bill throughout the last few years :/..
Thanks again! This forum has, and will continue to be a source of vast amounts of information and knowledge to existing and future generations of aquarium hobbiests.

Congrats Kyle on creating THE greatest planted tank forum on the internet today. I really can't even begin to describe all the things this site has taught me. Without this site, I don't think I would know near as much about planted tanks let alone just aquariums in general. I really thank you so much for this site and all the work you have done. I can't honestly say thank you enough!
