first serious attempt at an aquascape![]() Hey guys, i have been in the aquarium hobby for a few years now, but my focus has always been on fish in the past. i just recently got into growing plants and such. setup Tank: 29 gallon Lighting: 2x24watt t5 HO Dosing: Seachem Flourish Comprehensive Supplement Seachem Equilibrium Aquavitro N synthesis Pressurized co2 around 2bps Gravel: 1/4 flourite 3/4 2-5mm aquarium gravel Please critic the aquascape and advice is welcome on what plants i should put in and where i should place current plants considering the set up i have. please keep in mind this is day 1 and other than the water sprite and cabomba, none of the plants have really grown much since i had those two the longest. also please excuse how cloudy it looks, after replanting some stuff a lot of white stuff came out of my gravel, i suspect it is probably the equilibrium that had settled there since not all of it gets diluted. lol thanks, that amount u see there is actually only about 20-30% of what i had 2 days ago but it was just so massive that i had to trim a whole bunch then just decided to pull a bunch out so i dont kno what to do with it now... maybe i should give it to my LFS maybe i might even get some store credits!

Ive never been a fan of cabomba since it sheds "leaves"
Give it time and stick with the leafy water sprite, grass, and what appears to be ludwigia As I mentioned in a another post, u might want to try using a plastic syringe to inject Flourish into substrate, to induce root growth at base more so than other regions on stems, Black or white background? |
