Ive been looking to stock my 12 gallon long with some red schooling fish, is there anything you have or can recommend? I was thinking chili rasbora's but they dont really "school" as I have had them in the past, are there any red fish you have that school, or any red fish I can keep as a pair perhaps that dont school but are red colored, like maybe darios?

Hmmm. Darios would work. Right now i have the dario hysgninon, but have dario dario coming back in. Other choices may be something like espeis, but they are more copper than red. You are right, chilis don't really school as much as loosely gather. I will think on this one!

I have had them for a few months, this sale was the catalyst for them all to go. The good new is I have a breeding group. Just will take awhile to raise fry, lol. I also have a call into my distributor for more, but they have been being elusive

These fish have very specialized needs, have threatened habitats, and should be bred. Ideally, they would be in a small, extremely softwater species tank.

General question about the blue tetras (don't remember the actual sp from your site) - do they school? I have some cardinals and love the coloring, but they're not big swimmers - more of just hanging about.

You may be talking about Knodus borkii (blue tetra), which I sold all of, but yes, they are fantastic schoolers.

So are the black neons, really good schoolers, as are T. espei.
