Not sure if this has been discussed, but do I see that you have plants planted in clay pots within the planter?

It's still alive:

This was just after the move, before I took out most of the plants to throw in my 270g pond.

After the destruction. I added back in 2-3" clippings.

This is recently, stems grew back and water cleared up.

All plants are just plugged into the bottom now, maybe 6" of lava rocks + dirt.

Wow this is super cool! I was looking at some of the big plastic pots, 22-24", at lowes this evening for something similar to this!

Nice. I want to get one of these and do an outdoor "pond"...

335g and about 6' across, 2' deep. Less than $200.
