Seemingly stunted Rotala growth?
My Rotala rotundifolia in my main tank has been growing much differently than it does in my 10g. There's new growth and roots, but the top leaves are very small, and mottled. Is this a lighting issue, or a nutrient deficiency?
http://imgur.com/q35cb Tank specs - 29 gallon, 2 t5 HO 12000k lamps. Flourite substrate. full line of flourish ferts dosed, root tabs. |

I've never experienced stunting from a lack of CO2. I have noticed that this species of Rotala grows in smaller and tight together. It may be because of higher light.

Do you think it would have anything to do with the 12000k bulbs? Should I find 6500k range ones instead?

extra excel may work but its only a substitute.
co2 is the key.. or less light.. more light means more demand for nutrients, this includes co2
