How much light
I have a 29gal. tank. I switched from the led light that came with the tank to an Aquaticlife floresent light. Wow, what a difference. In just 3 weeks the plants look great. I leave the lights on for about 13 hours aday. I'm starting to get some algea on the tank glass. I'm I leaving the lights on too long? Thanks

13 hours is a bit long. Are you injecting CO2? Dosing Ferts? How many bulbs?

Is this a T5HO fixture? If so, I suspect that is way too much light for a tank without co2. And 13 hours of light is too much. The plant aren't using it for that full duration, but the algae is.
