Rachael's Super Tigers (Pics!)

Rachael! Got my super tigers last night, they look AWESOME! Think you'll appreciate these pics I never knew they were so intricately colored/detailed with so many variations.

Blue tint with black and silver bands

Yellow tint with black and gold bands

Orange tint with black and gold bands

And lastly here's a dark blue with very prominent gold striping

Beautiful!

wow! just saw this! Great shots!! Is it ok if I use one for the species profile? I have a heck of a time photographing them in their tank (acrylic and a bit scratched).

So, um, what's the difference between a "Super" Tiger and a "regular" Tiger?

This post on Liam's (mordalphus) blog sums the differences up pretty well.

Super tigers have thicker black banding with hints of yellow coloring on the nose and tails.

And here I thought they were named as such just because Rachel is super.

Actually, I don't like the regular tigers and these are much prettier.

They're much prettier and hardier, in my experience.

Those are for sure super tiger. I got some blue tint as well but they changed color based on water conditions.

Got my msjinkzd super tigers yesterday and they are pretty sweet. I hope like heck I can get some breeding going on because I'd love a tank full of these beauties.
