Nice looking stones! Is this a 15 gallon (55L) tank? I really like it's depth. You can use your stones to create a nice deep perspective. I was also wondering, What did you envision it to look like? Can you draw it out?

Good Luck!

I agree - post 6 is the best layout, it creates a nice sense of depth.

Do you think i should mound the substrate on either side? Raise it higher or just leave as is in that picture

I think the elevations look great in the picture, but before planting is the time to play around with them so you might as well experiment a bit to see what happens.

I'd try making the left side even higher (while leaving the right side unchanged), and also raising both sides (but keeping the left higher than the right).

Should the center remain the highest?

How does this look...probably as close as I can get to Post #6....thoughts? I also added a rock to the closest right said (kind sticks out of the substrate)...do you like that there? Would it be better to keep a smaller flatter stone like in picture 6?

PS I rotated the centre rock after I uploaded the picture, so it is facing the same way as in post/picture #6

Post #11 is my favorite. This is pretty close, assuming you rotated the center back to the post #6/#11 position.
