Any idea what kind of wood this is?![]() Paper thin smooth bark, hard, no smell. It is about as thick as my arm, found on throw away pile in woods. |

Look at the trees in the area where you found it. Odds are it came from a tree close by and wasn't carried into the woods separately. Once you match it up with a tree, you have more you can use for identification, such as the tree's leaves.
