Hygrophila difformis is a weed thus you could stick it anywhere and it will grow.

I am a bit jealous for I was hoping for some fry from my killifish. My female died so I have to look for another 1.

Day 118

Cryptocoryne wendtii (and C. lucens) are doing really well. The wendtii used to be really low-growing in my 6-gallon fluval edge but grow much taller in here probably due to the lower light level.

After I moved, the wendtii were doing horrible (not sure if the lighting or the eco complete played a role too) but they have grown back strong in here. The lucens seems to be growing much more lengthy in here too with a little bit of brown/red color that I didn't see before.

Glosso and HC are definitely viable in a low light tank. The HC is growing at a decent rate and getting a little more vertical... the glosso is growing but extremely slowly. I think the mini pelia is growing faster. The mini pelia is slowly covering the rocks... I think it'll look pretty cool once it covers more of them...

Thanks! I think one thing I would change is to use a different background plant. I'm going to gradually remove this one and phase in a different myriophyllum that's been growing in the back corner of the tank.

Moved all the B. brigittae to the shrimp tank to make room for the newest inhabitants, Epiplatys annulatus (aka Clown Killi):

These guys are amazingly calm and photogenic. This guy actually swam closer to me as I took pictures with the flash going off. I think I need more of them! They're a bit tiny right now and I hope they're not getting bullied too much by the larger, more active A. normani...

I also did some significant pruning. I removed all the parrot's feather so that the M. mattogrossense has more room to grow out. The left side has also been cleared up with the floating plants and moss removed. I also added a Nymphoides sp. 'Taiwan' where the parrot's feather used to be. I don't know much about the plant but hope it grows out well.
