They sell them, online or order from your LFS.

Did you happen to read my post?

I can find no one that carrys the 2215 pump head any more....

yeah I am going to try what you ahd mentioned. As I had already filled the area where the impeller goes as the pump cover was off and got no leaking. I imagine if it is leaking it is into the epoxyed area. That is why I am going to tear it down.

The Classic line is quite an old lineup and there are newer filters that have some advantages. Small things can make the difference in sales so it does make sense that the line will gradually disappear over time. Sad but true, the Classics may be going away. I love the 2217's but now that I have a 2075, I will go that way next time.

Well if that company wasn't Eheim or an Eheim rep, I wouldn't believe them. The Classic series filters are a long standing product line for Eheim and I really can't see them doing away with them.

Besides, the parts should be available for quite a few years after the series has been discontinued.

You can still purchase new 221x series filters from Amazon, so they aren't in short supply if they have been discontinued. Check fleabay for pump heads. There's always quite a few for sale on there.

When it gets down to the higher priced items like heads, I normally go shopping for a used filter and find the whole filter for near the same price. But then I run the risk of buying one with a crack!! Never seen it but, it could happen.
