Eheim 2226 on a 29gallon?

I have an Eheim that I would like to put to use but the largest tank I can have is 29 gallons for tetras and sturdy plants. I was wondering if this would be a big problem?

I have a 2228 on my 120 and it's a strong flow! 2226 IMO would be way too much for the 29.

You can always distribute the flow by using an extension that is made for under 5 bucks....

I have a 2213 and 2215, each on their own 20 long. The 2213 is great. The 2215 has also been great but with a lot more flow. A 2226 on a 29 might be overkill, but if that is what you have then go for it. I would make sure I have plants that can stand the constant water flow and fish that can deal with it also.

Sorry I typed 2226 instead of 2026. I used to use this filter on my 60 gallon but I ran out of space in my room and had to take it down. Since the Eheim is such a great product I didn't want to put it out of use.
