face of a sow bug (photo)

Hi all,

OK, I know this isn't an aquatic animal...but at least its a crustacean!

I posted this photo on my blog last night--a highly magnified picture of a common sow bug or woodlouse (order Isopoda).—along with a brief explanation of how I did it.

More discussion will follow in the next couple of posts...but this was just so cool I had to share it!

Cheers
EC

That is really awesome! Well done.

I love the eyes...kinda reminds me of a juicy blackberry.

Thank you! I spent days trying to decide on a watermark that wouldn't spoil the photo but would be distinctive to me. So I scanned my signature and and add it as a small watermark to every photo...

Cheers
