Nice looking tank! What type of plants do you have in there?

Java moss, parva, wendetti, lucens, and hygrophila siamensis. (the wendetti is not doing so well for some reason)

Your a brave person using the stealth heater ! Even on a 5 gallon , it's too much water to risk for me ! Nice tank though

They got recalled but to be honest most heaters have the potential to blow up. I think I got it from Dr. Foster & Smith? I guess it's too late to get it replaced now...

From what marineland emailed me about the faulty elements they used I'd say inevitable . They will still take them in . I bought a used tank last month from Craigslist and it came with a 100 watt stealth heater , I emailed marineland and said I would pay for the extra for a 300 watt ...... They sent it out free of charge in exchange for the stealth !

Tap, my tap water is rock hard though. I asked and apparently it's still ok for RCS...

![]() ![]() Here it is as of now, about to be with shrimp added. I had to trim the hygro and got rid of most of the hair algae. I also switched from tap to a 50:50 of RO to tap. Sorry for the instagram-ish looking pictures. They had a green tint for whatever reason and I wanted to edit it out for truer colors.
