Stores in Winnipeg

Which stores come recommended in Winnipeg? Checked out stores in my neighbourhood. There's a pet store in Dryden which had nothing I was looking for. A few fish but no plants. Walmart is the only other place with a small selection of hardware and some fish, no plants.

I wouldn't mind checking out a few places in Winnipeg. I get there every so often. Which places should I check out and visit?

It depends on what your after, but the Petland at Pembina and Bishop Grandin has the best selection of common fish and plants as well as the most tanks and hardware in the city. If you are looking for a good selection of fish, I would recommend Nestor's on Sargeant at Home St. He has tons of cichlids and nice ones too! The Bird Shop on Main St has a nice selection of fish and plants as well, and some really cool display tanks and a nice variety of exotic pets. The Fish Gallery across the street from The Bird Shop has a nice selection of plants and healthy fish as well. Other than that, there aren't too many other places ,aside from the regular tetra, molly and goldfish around.
