Malawa?
I have Malawa in my pearl tank and with the order of Pearls I received last weekend I got a few malawas in his "scoops"
I am guessing this is a malawa though it does not look like my others which are a more tan brown color. The thing that is confusing me is the red tail and redish head and sort of stripey looking body like the red stripes I am trying to breed for (with your encouragement) in the pearls. |

oops I typed that while distracted playing (world of warcraft)
What I meant to say was Malawa in my Rili tank, but some came with the blue pearls I ordered. I want to make sure that is a malawa before I catch it and add it to the Rili/Mal tank. |

yepper. Malawa. They are an interesting shrimp that run the color spectrum of clearish to brown to red to black. You could always have some fun and see if you could breed for one color of Malawa. :p

Malawa. They come in so many colors in the brown spectrum. They're cool shrimp. I used to keep them til my daughter killed them and my CRS by dumping a whole thing of fish food in my tank.
