Shrimp Food Bowl


Hey does anyone know where I can get some shrimp food bowls ?

I saw this on ebay but its kind of pricey, anyone know any good alternatives ?

You also could just search for pyrex petri dishes (small) on amazon. I think they sell in wholesale amounts though.

If you can't find it just look for Han or Neoshrimp, they both sell it.

Dollar store glass candy dish or any little glass dish or the bottom part of a ceramic planter is what I use like these. 3/$1 at the buck store.

You can also use candle holders. I have one I use right now but the outer edge is REALLY thick. Still, for 75 cents it was fine. I just got a couple from Neoshrimp that should be here tomorrow.

I have actually a reptile food dish that looks like a tree stump. I think it was like 7 or 8. It comes in different colors and it really blends in nicely. That's what I use.

Thanks for the help all, I decided to order one from H4N and I bought the one on ebay as well (Ebay bucks came out today !).

Ill post pics of the two when I get them !

I like the bamboo joint idea! MIL's backyard is covered in bamboo, I can just get some of hers. Another good place for shrimp to pick at.

Those are Ramshorn. Though, neither Ramshorn nor Bladder Snails eat healthy plants.

the big one the shrimp is riding on? what sort of ramshorn is it? i have red/gold ones but none that are clearish with spots

ah okay so they only eat the decaying leaves like the other snails then
