bracket? for a 10
I just picked up a dual light that is slightly too short for my tank. Id like to make (or buy) a bracket or something for it so sit on above the tank without it being too intrusive. Also, is blue necessary? I prefer the look of white but I'm not sure if the color temperature is something required by plants?

as for the color spectrum, something around 6500 is your best bet.

I think those are power compact lights. If I am not mistaken those will be a lot of light for a 10 gallon tank. And for the color spectrum like CatB said 6500k up to 10,000k will be good for plants.
