tds meter ppm


Just got a tds meter and was wondering what's a good ppm for fish/shrimp?
I seeing 197-215ppm in my tanks. Is that range good Or should I w/c?

that range seems fine, its really depends on what type of water ur using and what tds it was to start, my tds is and has been 180-250 out of tap crs berried and breeding fine, stablility is a KEY factor, but also dont know what type of shrimp your keeping. for fish that another thing most fish dont need to worry bout tds like shrimp, ive tested tanks that range from 200-2k+ my meter stops there its kinda interesting testing others and guageing what works for others and how long its been for wc's, but the main thing is its a tool to guage how far its changed from the start to help u better understand when u need to do wc's once u know ur baseline value its easy to see when things are getting out of control and need to be checked
