Very nice, I think you could leave it as is and let the carpet fill in.

The LED's are great, been running on this tank for about 6 months now and were great on previous scapes, the HC seems to love it too. I'm getting into building custom lighting for a few people now too to help the hobby along. Ok maybe I'll let it grow in and if I don't like it I'll add more and sell the carpets.
Thanks for the kind comments. |

Well the plants are growing fast, had the gas on 24/7 for a few days and since it seems to have sped things up. Staurogyne turned up yesterday along with some Bolbitis Mini so I'll get the stone holding the wood down out and place it there for now, if I decide to add more wood it will be moved onto it. Still thinking of moving out the HC and having a carpet of Staurogyne tho, getting bored of HC now its been in my last 3 scapes.

Really good filter for the price, flow is great, inlet and outlets are easy to hide and it doesn't slow with an inline atomiser. Yeah great to have another UK resident on here mate, I'll keep an eye for your threads lol

yeah the only problem i found with the aquamanta, was the fine filter floss, i took that out after the water went like glass, slowed the flow too much.
