Free silver angelfish
I've had two silver angelfish for the past 8 months and recently one has become very aggressive towards the other so I would like to give one away to a good home. They are about 5-6" and I think they're both males, though I'm not 100% certain.
If interested, pick up is by Brooklyn College. Thanks. |

Im interested, i have about 6-8 juvie pepper corys im looking to rehome as well if you would like to swap.. the only problem is i need to set up the 55 that the angel will be housed in. I will of course be using a filter currently thats on a tank 10 years old as well as the subsrate. I just need a few days but if it cant wait the best i could do is temp house him in my 20gal hex quarantine thats 30" long and 17" high..
He will be housed with 11 pepper cory and 3 oto |

Sounds good. If you need more time to set up the tank that's fine. Weekends are best for me to pick up though so if not this weekend, you can pick him up next weekend. He has a couple scales missing atm, but I am treating with melafix. The two are siblings and have been fighting on and off since i've had them, but just recently one has gotten a lot more aggressive, I think due to the heat. Anyway, let me know when you can pick up.

They get 2-3" but it takes a while for the last one inch.. right now theres 2 at about 1" .. 2 at 3/4" and a few at about 3/8" .. three different spawns all from same mother.
Its recommended to have 6 to school. They really are fun to watch graze the bottom together so i highly recommend taking all of my juvies possible :P theyre my fav fish. What do you currently have in the tank your thinking of putting them in? |

I have angelfish, rams, some tetras, golden panchax killifish, and raphael catfish in a 40B. Would they be compatible? I can take 6 if they need to be in a school. And do you have any pics?
Oh and tank is planted with 2 driftwood and a flower pot. |

I dont think they will be safe with the raphael cat eapecially since theyre juvies. And the raphael reaches 8-10" .. plus you may end up having problems with your angels and rams i dont think theyre too compatible especially if there are pairs present
As what i know catfish eat anything they can fit in their mouth which could ultimately be the cories and smaller tetras |

I also have a 10 gallon with danios. Would a 10gal be too small for 6 cories?

What you could possibly do is move the raph cat temporarily in the 10gal and get yourself a 29 gal in near future which i beleive is recommended minimum for the raph cat. Especially since supposedly pet o will be doing a dollar gallon sale soon :
I wouldnt really recommend not taking them in though if you dont already have a tank for them .. i could hold onto them for longer i have plenty of tanks in my fishroom |
