Feel like I've stalled

Excuse the bad photo quality.

The left hand side is still a mess, the java moss is there until I find something to do with it. I want to have something bushy and fairly low in that corner so that I can trim the background into a V with the lowest part on the border of the left third. Plant suggestions welcome.

The ludwigia has taken two months just to root and I'm not sure whether to replace it or not. The bacopa that thrived in my old tank is not doing much better than the ludwigia.

Apart from waiting for the plants to perk up and grow in. What do I need to change to make this scape work?

+1 on the driftwood. My tank is definitely a work in progress, but I love my large driftwood I have on the left side of my tank. (this is a terrible photo, I need to get an better panoramic shot)

How big are we talking? Anything over 1 ft seems to be mega expensive. The tank is 4ft long just for scale.

My tank is 4 feet long. In the horrible picture above you can sort of make out how big the driftwood is. I picked it up at the LFS for about 30 or 40 bucks, can't remember which. It's maybe a fott and a half long and maybe a foot tall on a good day... :-)

Talk to Tom Barr. He has plenty of very nice pieces of driftwood and is reasonable.

Not sure what customs would have to say about importing 'organic material'.

I'll keep looking closer to home for the time being. There are some amazing bits of spiky bog oak on ebay but all either expensive or difficult to collect.

Edit: Just looked at the powerseller forum. Wow! May have to talk to customs.
