adjustable feet for DIY stand
Hey all,
I'm finishing up a ADA-style stand and am looking for some advice. I live in an older house with uneven floors. Does anyone recommend any adjustable furniture feet? I looked at the Home Depot selection and was worried about them supporting the weight of a fwater-filled 18 gallon tank. Any cost-effective and sightly recommendations from the DIY stand crowd? Thanks! |

Check out Graingers.com, I made a metal tube stand and used a set from them. Be prepared however to see prices of ~50 for the 4 though

http://www.rockler.com/product.cfm?p...3&site=ROCKLER - Each level 600 lb. I am using these on stand for a 75G.

If I weren't at work (hehe) I'd take a picture of the stand. The bottom is two 3/4" ply pices, so the feet would likely have to screw into that. I don't know if the grainger feet would work (though they look really tough). The Rocklers look more like what I want, but they'd have to go on the outside. I just wish I had built the stand so that they could be mounted inside out of sight.
Has anyone seen anything similar that just mount to the bottom? |

Those Rockler ones are the ones I have used. If you attach a Toe Kick frame under the stand, around 3" high, you can use those.
