I'd be down for a meetup. Are people free sometime next week?

Anyone in need of a large heater or some pretty red ramshorn snails?

I'm looking for some low-light plants.

I go to UCF so that's in the area. Looking to start my first tank in the next week or so. Only going to have substrate and enough water to cover it and let it cycle for about 8 weeks since I'm just gonna leave it with my girlfriend while I go home for the 8 weeks. However, once I have the ability to start adding plants/fish/shrimp...I might be interested in some RCS. The only place I found that sold shrimp in the immediate UCF area was a store in Waterford and they were selling Cherry Red for $5 each which I thought was kinda steep.

Anway...excited to start my tank!

I would be down for a meetup to get ahold of some swords or crypts. Maybe some reds. I have too much green.

Five bucks each! Insane.. I can get you RCS all day long for a buck a pop.. which is the going price by the way, not that inflated $5 ea. I don't want to hear the overhead and other nonsense with them having a store. If that is the case then my hours logged maintaining the aquarium and tending to the shrimp, utilities and my mortgage should all count! LOL

Yea it was at Aquaria Studio which when I had gone in that time, my first time, I didn't have a very welcoming experience. However, I was just in there yesterday to get Flourish and Excel (250ml@9.99) it was a much better experience. Very friendly staff..offered me water/coke/sprite too haha...but apparently they are starting the process of phasing out their freshwater fish on the plus side...all are 50% off but unfortunately I can't buy any for 8 weeks though since I'm leaving after my summer session for 8 weeks =/ Hopefully they still have some left by then though or maybe I can figure out a way to keep them while I'm gone..

And as for the shrimp...now that sounds like a price I'm willing to pay :p but like I said...I wont be here for 8 weeks so I'm not going to stock my tank with anything until I get back.

Trust me, in eight weeks the population will have doubled by the looks of it.

Anyone willing to host it? I'll drive anywhere. I could do with learning from more experienced people as well.
