i would say the medium would be considered adult, about 2-3 inches for the bodies in length.

aquastar

Placement on map is approximate
169 Mott St # A
New York, NY 10013

123 aquarium
123 Elizabeth Street, New York, United States

they are all in two block radius from one another.

also, aquastar had amano shrimp for $2.50 ea
123 has them for $4 for small, $5 for the large ones.

almost forgot, one of these stores had electric rams. i thought they were pretty cool but i dont keep these kind of fish. I think it was 123. Spent most of my time at Win talking to the old man. He's had the crystals in his tanks for the longest so i asked him what his secret was. Also he told me his distributors have been falling off the map so he's trying new ones out, which is why he often get exotic stock. He had some very interesting dwarf shrimp in his cray fish tank for $1.50 each. They were clear in his tanks but had a green/bluish tint when i brought them home.

Enjoy your weekend everyone!

When I bought my roseline on Monday Win had the electric rams under the roseline tank. They have a dark spot on the head which turns me off but I thought I saw Pacific had electric rams with full electric blue.

If you're going to Union Square area, Petco has Amano for $2.40 and they are large. They also selling Whiskers shrimp which are even larger. I have them with my the large petco Amanos with no issues.

Picked up a nice looking piece of rosewood from Pacific today.

It was a bit pricey but it was definitely worth it. There were much more ornate pieces next to the register.

Win had Electric Blue Rams for $14.50 and Wild-type Neos for $1.50 each.

Went to Wins today and those electric rams look like they had ick on them? Nice otherwise though...

I bought 2 kribs there, but they dont seem to be looking too great in my tank. Sitting on the bottom, not swimming. Waters fine but my pH is pretty low...around 6.0, acclimated them pretty slowly but, its been a few hours and no go : \ Also got more otos at petco, new shipment of fish today but all of them had really filled out stomachs, so fingers crossed for them as well.

Definitely!
Just didn't want ya to think I was stalking ya ...

Went to pacific. They had these very beautiful long tailed arghhhh now I forgot the name... They looked like a schooling community type fish for sure. Really beautiful tails at about an inch and a half length total.

They reminded me of their buy two get the third free promo for all live stock. The shrimp tank was stocked with adult crs s-ss, high grade red rilis, amanos. The gorgeous rosewood monster mentioned really were unreal. Each had third dimension shapes and medium to small branches intersecting.... Finally the perfect driftwood for nanos locally available. Worth checking out if you are in the market for nano tank wood.

They switched up the display tanks and had new nanos available for sale. Not your average eheim/fluval hardware... A few rimless bow fronts equipped with LEDs.

Their plant section was looking pretty decent as well. Kinda made me wish I had a large tank to scape. Anyway it was a great day to be out. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Still looking for a neat one.

Also been looking for a local source of Lampeyes
At Fishtown they have what appear to me to be a large group of Apistogramma sp. "kelleri" for $90/pair. They are labeled as "rare sp Apisto." The workers at the store had no idea what species they are, except that they are wild-caught and have been in their store for about a month.

Pacific has lampeye killies currently.
