Should I be worried?
I have a small but thriving colony of RCS. Today I noticed one of my berried females looks like she is carrying black berries when viewed from the rear. Usually the berries look whitish from that angle. I can't see them from the side since her shell is pretty opaque. Can they have the babies die and rot while carrying them? My best magnifyer is only 5X so I can't get her big enough to really see anything.
Or am I concerned over nothing? I just have never seen this before.

No, RCS usually carry yellow or green egg's but I've had one or two carry dark eggs to term with no problems.

Thanks everyone! Right now she seems just as carefree and happy as the rest of the herd.
