Dwarf Gourami Chasing
I bought two Dwarf Gouramis A couple of days ago and the male(Gold) wont stop chasing the female(Opaline). I have a little tank to quarantine the male if I have too but would really like to avoid it. Also is there any way to make the male build a bubble nest because the guy at my LFS said she was full of eggs. I don't have a heater or live food right now. Also the female gourami is the only fish in the tank that it chases. He doesn't mess with any other fish.

it could be that he knows she is full of eggs and releasing a hormone in the water (im only guessing) which is why he is harassing. I would give it a bit more time to see what happens and then go from there
