EI dosing for a tank with less plants?
Still recovering from the Great Stem Meltdown of '12, so there's a good chunk of open space. Will it be okay to use the EI dosing for a 10 gallon or should I cut back lest the algae explode?

I am new to the EI method, but I would dose small amounts for sure with such a small tank. I am not familiar with your setup, but i tend to dose on the conservative end.

Depends, if it is a low light tank you can just dose half the normal EI, but if you are higher light with co2 I would just dose the normal amount and make sure to do 50% WC each week.

Got cha, thanks. I think I'm on the lower light and don't use CO2 aside from Excel to zap algae spots.
