Atlanta LFS or clubs coming up?
I'm going to Atlanta for mothers day weekend with my family. We have a house there, but I wasn't into aquariums before we moved, so I was wondering if there are any places with visiting in the Cumming, Alpharetta, or downtown areas. Specifically looking for shrimp, snails, plants... Equipment. Basically anything. Thanks guys!

Premier Aquatics in Marietta is the best shop around ATL these days IMO but not a lot of exotic stuff like I think you might be looking for. Also if you can make the drive over to Athens then Aquarium Outfitters is a cool place, they have some great 'red spiderwood' driftwood and I just saw on their thread they have orange bee ($4), crystal red ($10), bamboo ($12), blue wood ($20), and amano ($5). HTH and enjoy your visit, I read your journal all the time guess I should comment sometime.
Edit: There never were very many good places around here and even less now |

Thanks, but I don't have any suitable tanks to house GBR's at the moment.

BUT do you know what grade(s) the CRS were? $10 isn't bad if they're relatively high grade. Also, thanks! I'll be on aquabotanics radio show talking about this tank today and planted nanos in general, feel free to listen and/or call in! 1:00 PM EST.

Yes what Brian said, very few stores that carry freshwater. There are however a few really great saltwater/reef stores in that area.
