Plant ID Long story short, I thought I had some emersed Ludwigia palustris growing in my backyard and about 3 weeks ago I put it into my tank. Its started to change but I'm not sure if its still palustris. Also the emersed form doesn't look like this plant. Does anyone know by any chance?

it looks like a little tiny rotala rotundifolia, but I doubt that is actually what it is. Do you have a college nearby with a Botanist class? They might be able to id that plant if nobody here can. Plus they would know your local fauna better.

Well that pretty much explains why I think I have Ludwigia palustris. I am kinda late on updating that thread though. lol. I'm not sure? If its local fauna I figured it wouldn't turn into a submersed plant and it would just die. But your right its a worthwhile lead. To the libary batman!
