Happy Day, but will they make it?

So its the first day I noticed this particular CRS is berried! It has been about 2 weeks in my tank since I bought them.
Happy, but also worried. What should I do according to the pictures?

Sorry for the crappy image.

Temp: 70-73F
PH: 7.6
GH: 6
KH: 2
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 20? 40?

10 Gallon tank. Substrate is a mix of ecp-complete and Fluval Shrimp Stratum. Going to do 1 gallon water change this Saturday.

i had berried crs and babies in ph of 7.5. it can be done. might take a while to build up to it cause first few might not make it but over time they will learn to live there and it wont be a prob for them

As long as your parameters stay super stable you should be fine. Maybe some newborns will not make it but it will work

Good luck!

they can berring is one thing, having surviving offspring is something else... if this is her first clutch, the odds may stack against you.

i'd say thats closer to 40ppm. dangerous situation given any WC may get her to drop her eggs.

Yea first time berried in my tank, don't know before it.
She's been hanging upside down on the floating riccia all day... She knows how to hold her eggs the easy way lol.

I'd expect her to drop the eggs over the next several days. If it doesn't happen, you've got a pleasant surprise.

Mine got berried around that pH, but none of the babies made it. Didn't even see any, but she held them like full term. Now's it's berried again...hoping the babies make it. Hope yours does too!

You may want to watch out with those nitrate levels. Although I wouldn't suggest a WC at this point, maybe adding some plants that remove nitrate quickly? Frogbit/water lettuce seems to do the trick pretty good.

I wouldn't worry so much. She looks like an A-S grade, with that grade she should be pretty hardy. Last A grade gave birth to almost 15 babies and they all survived. I never checked the parameters and this was in my temporary 5 gal tank! Good luck with her, I love seeing shrimplets. Aloha
