DIY Co2 on 10 gallon

I was just wondering what kind of DIY Co2 setup others ran on their 10 gallons...and their setups, since black beard algae which has started to grow on some of my plants, is apparently caused by low Co2 levels. My plants are pearling like crazy though.

I'm using a 2-liter bottle for the Co2, 2 cups of sugar, 1/4 tablespoon of yeast.

What kind of reacter do you use? The hagen ladder or something else?

I will tell you that I have a DIY 2 liter, with a DIY bell reacter. I have little to no algae, but I can't make my plants pearl to save my life. lol

For a 10g you can use a bell, ladder diffuser or even cram the hose inside the intake strainer of a Hagen Aquaclear and you should easily hit 30+ ppm of co2. The latter method is a bit annoying because of the "pop...pop...pop" noise of the co2 bubbles being smashed, but the gas gets trapped inside the filter media (the white pads) and is dissolved pretty efficiently.

While balancing on a piece of wood, two inches by four inches known as a 2x4, John and his friend Sally both spotted a dalmatian inside of a truck with sirens. The animal with John and Sally is a _ _ _?
