Don't know what you mean by retail shop. The store on 2nd street is an actualy store that you can walk in buy or special order stuff. Their scrap bins has good value.

Don't bother using email. It takes a while for them to get back to you. Give them a call, the girl on the phone can answer all your questions. I actually called her to get the tube pricing for you.

I price out acrylic to make my own 300gal tank before and it was very expensive but compared to what? I find their acrylic pricing is 1/2 of what you would pay at Lowes.

BTW.. the store on 2nd street has an actual parking lot so you don't need to run around the block looking for parking.

No problem. I was actually thinking of running over their during lunch today to find some scrap to make some shrimp tank with dividers.

Let me know how the tube work out. I wanted to eventually get some to make inline heater module.

it would be cool to make a co2 reactor out of acrylic too, but that takes time and effort, i just don't have any of that right now....lol
