Nokturnalkid's "Insert Fancy Name Here" 6g rimless *5/22 updated
Long story short, moved across the Pacific, sold all the stuff, and pretty much hobby was done. Until, the other half suggested getting a tank. Woo hoo. That pic of the co2 tank is great. Going to need to strap that one down.

It's a Matheson 8-320 dual stage regulator. Got it used off ebay for $35. The post body is from bettatail and set me back $45. Also got a nano glass diffuser for $7. It's a rock solid co2 setup for under $90.

Lol, no kidding. That reg is a beast. Gonna make a stand for it out of abs or pvc. Its honestly pretty sturdy as it is right now but with a 2yr old running around, beyyer safe than sorty.

Here's the tank with substrate and hardscape in. Still tinkering around with it. Almost all of the lava rock you see will have moss on it, with a few more pieces pieces going in after being planted.

Finally got the thing planted about a week ago. Some algae on its way in, but should be pretty easy to get rid of. Also, added a couple nerites.

I actually like the tank. Silicone was pretty nice. My only issue would probably be the beveled edges. Definately not for everyone. My quick fix was just to turn the tank around. I also think the filter and light is perfect for the tank. I have no par meter but would put the light into the med. category, which is what I wanted. Too bad I bought this before the led fixtures came out.

The filter includes a spraybar and a "jet" type flow. There's enough pieces to put the spraybar across the back(I only used one piece so that I could have the spraybar on the side). I bought this setup here. There's some on ebay but with shipping it comes out to be the same as if you ordered direct. I decided on buying from the site to support one of the sponsors.
