I am planning on coming but we'll have to see if the wife has anything else that pops up that day.

My first time, I'm still researching on what I want to do with my first freshwater tank. Not planning to bid on anything , I just want to go and look at the neat things people have for sale.

I haven't been to one in about 5 years or so, but they are usually hit or miss. I wouldn't expect anything spectacular, but there are some gems to be found. There is a new buy it now part that could be interesting. I also saw that they don't allow inverts which is disappointing.

I'm also hoping to start attending the meetings and meet some people.

They do allow inverts to be auctioned, whoever wrote up the rules/regs page forgot to make the word "Invertebrates" bold. I was at the last auction and I saw tons of different snails/shrimp.
